TalkAurora 2.18.0.160 is a free Internet instant messenger client.
The developers claim that this is probably the only chat program on the net whose staff do not monitor or read your instant messages.
You will need to register an account in order to use TalkAurora. You can do that directly from the program. After entering your personal data, they will send you by email the password you´ll need to use.
The nickname you choose must be written in English (whatever that means), otherwise it will be deleted.
When you run TalkAurora! you will see the usual Instant Messenger´s screen: a tiny window (that can´t be maximized) with a toolbar on the top, a four icons bar, and your online and offline contacts.
The "Files" tab in the toolbar allows you to set every detail about your account, status, details, blockl ist, exception list and preferences. You can use the Exit option too.
Under "Services" you can find an existing user or invite a new one.
"Chat" lets you choose and join an existing Chat Room, or create a new one. Since TalkAurora! is not the most popular client, you will find very few people. But when I entered the Help chat room, everybody was very nice to me.
Of course, you can send private messages to a buddy without the need of a chat room. |
